"Common Sense Internet Marketing" . One thing I do when I am checking out blogs or website to see if they have a tagline, catch phase, or short elvator speech. A good tagline line makes me want to stop and read. Now Conversation Marketing with Ian Lurie first caught my eye because of the title but his tagline made me want to read it.
"Conversation Marketing is a living thing - I'm not done with it. Neither is anyone else." is another of his quotes. It tells me that he going to learn more and hopefully pass it on to me.

From what I know, I would consider Thermo Fisher Scientific to be part of the biotech field. The company's analytical technologies segment includes pharmaceutical and the biotechnology market as it does engage in the functions of research, development, drug discovery, etc., so yeah, in this sense I do consider it to be in the biotech field.
ReplyDeleteSwine Flu? Perhaps the swine flu does have an impact on its stock price. http://www.google.com/finance?q=ThermoFisher+Scientific As you can see, the stock is pretty volatile. However, since its low on April 23, 2009 at $32.39, the stock price has generally gone up and now it's trading ata bout $35.
Also, I would say that equipment should be high in demand. The news has said that it would take 6 months before they can develop a vaccine for the swine flu for all Americans. And as for globally? It could take up to 5 years! However, if they were to start making all the swine flu vaccinesright now, it would hinder their process of making the normal seasonal flu for this winter. It is predicted that the swine flu vaccines would all be done in January, although again, it isn't certain.
